Our recommended bonus bets

  • Fulham v Man United, both teams to score – Despite their league position, goals haven’t been an issue for Fulham who have scored in 8 of their last 9 games. United have scored in every game under Solskjær’s watch. (Get 9/13 odds on this bet with 10Bet)
  • Liverpool to beat Bournemouth by by 2 goals or more – The reverse fixture just back in December saw a 4-goal rout by Liverpool.  Bournemouth can leave themselves wide open when they lose possession, especially away from home. (Get 5/9 odds on this bet with 10Bet)
  • Southampton v Cardiff, under 2.5 goals – These two teams have struggled for goals this season and whilst Cardiff have not been great defensively, they have only conceded 4 goals in their last 4 away games, whilst Southampton’s last 5 league games has seen just a total of 10 goals (Get 4/5 odds on this bet with Boylesports)
  • Spurs v Leicester, over 3.5 goals – In the last 5 games between these two clubs, they have shared an incredible 23 goals. That’s over 4.5 goals a game on average. (Get 11/5 odds on this bet with 888Sport)

  • Wolves v Newcastle, Rondon to score anytime – Rondon will certainly play and be the main focal point for the Newcastle attack, this could be good value. (Get 15/4 odds on this bet with 888Sport)

Premier League betting tips for Saturday 9 February 2019

Fulham v Man United

Kick-off: 12:30pm (GMT) Saturday 9 February 2019

Where to watch live on TV in the UK: Sky Sports Premier League / Sky Sports Main Event / Sky Sports Ultra HD

Venue: Craven Cottage, West London

United continue to impress under interim boss Ole Solskjær.  They have gone from winning games impressively, to grinding out results well.

Fulham remain in deep trouble at the bottom of the table but actually, have been half decent at home since Ranieri has taken over.

Correct score prediction: 1-3 (Get 11/1 odds on this bet with William Hill)

Acca selection: Man United win

Bonus bet tip: Both teams to score – Despite their league position, goals haven’t been an issue for Fulham who have scored in 8 of their last 9 games. United have scored in every game under Solskjær’s watch. (Get 9/13 odds on this bet with 10Bet)

Crystal Palace v West Ham

Kick-off: 3:00pm (GMT) Saturday 9 February 2019

Venue: Amex Stadium, Brighton

Two teams that aren’t in especially great form, but both can be upbeat by their last outings.

Palace got a good home win against Fulham, and West ham played every bit as well as Liverpool in their recent draw.

Tough one to call this as both teams fall very much into the “on their day” category. Sadly, on their day they can beat anyone but also lose to anyone.

Correct score prediction: 1-1 (Get 23/4 odds on this bet with Sportingbet)

Huddersfield v Arsenal

Kick-off: 3:00pm (GMT) Saturday 9 February 2019

Venue: John Smith’s Stadium, Huddersfield

New Huddersfield manager Jan Siewert might already be thinking about next season following a loss to out of form Everton, and a hammering at Chelsea. The games certainly don’t get any easier, with Arsenal coming to town on Saturday.

Arsenal will need a win here to get some momentum going again.  After a very impressive Autumn, they have lost their way somewhat recently.

Correct score prediction: 1-3 (Get 12/1 odds on this bet with Betfred)

Acca selection: Arsenal win

Liverpool v Bournemouth

Kick-off: 3:00pm (GMT) Saturday 9 February 2019

Venue: Anfield, Liverpool

Liverpool will be hugely disappointed to have witnessed their seven point lead at the top disappear in a matter of days, after consecutive disappointing draws.

Bournemouth are having a season of two sides.  They have played some fantastic football at home, putting 4 past Chelsea last week, but their form away from home has been terrible by anyone’s standards.  Bournemouth have conceded 3 or more goals seven times so far this season.

We’re expecting Liverpool to put the pressure right back on City on Saturday, knowing they’ve got a tough fixture against a Chelsea side finding their feet.

Correct score prediction: 3-0 (Get 7/1 odds on this bet with Sportingbet)

Acca selection: Liverpool win

Bonus bet tip: Liverpool to win by 2 goals or more – The reverse fixture just back in December saw a 4-goal rout by Liverpool.  Bournemouth can leave themselves wide open when they lose possession, especially away from home. (Get 5/9 odds on this bet with 10Bet)

Southampton v Cardiff

Kick-off: 3:00pm (GMT) Saturday 9 February 2019

Venue: St. Mary’s Stadium, Southampton

A huge game at the bottom of the table after what has been yet again a tough week mentally for all the staff of Cardiff.  Their victory last weekend was very impressive given the circumstances, but their away form compared to their home form means this could be a very different story.

Southampton are on a good run, unbeaten in their last 5, and they have definitely appreciated the ‘new manager bounce’. Home advantage could be key in this one.

Correct score prediction: 2-0 (Get 29/4 odds on this bet with Sportingbet)

Acca selection: Southampton win

Bonus bet tip: Under 2.5 goals – These two teams have struggled for goals this season and whilst Cardiff have not been great defensively, they have only conceded 4 goals in their last 4 away games, whilst Southampton’s last 5 league games has seen just a total of 10 goals (Get 4/5 odds on this bet with Boylesports)

Watford v Everton

Kick-off: 3:00pm (GMT) Saturday 9 February 2019

Venue: Vicarage Road, Watford

Everton have now lost four of their last six games in the league.  Despite receiving the backing of the board this week, questions are starting to be asked of manager Marco Silva’s ability to improve this side and match the owner’s huge ambitions for the club.  All eyes will remain on the Everton boss this Saturday as he returns to his former club.

Despite putting in a strong performance against City in midweek, Everton are still struggling with set pieces, and don’t have enough fire power up front to overcome their holes at the back.  However, we think the extra incentive to beat his old side, on top of the advantage of knowing the opposition inside out, could well give Everton the edge.

Brighton v Burnley

Kick-off: 5:30pm (GMT) Saturday 9 February 2019

Where to watch live on TV in the UK: BT Sport 1 / BT Sport 4K UHD

Venue: Amex Stadium, Brighton

It’s very easy to forget what a poor run of form Brighton are on at present, given what a good job Chris Houghton has done there, combined with their early season form.

Burnley on the other hand remain just a place and 2 points outside the drop zone, but in contrast are going in the right direction, unbeaten in their last 5 league games.

Correct score prediction: 1-2 (Get 13/1 odds on this bet with SportingBet)

Premier League betting tips for Sunday 10 February 2019

Spurs v Leicester

Kick-off: 1:30pm (GMT) Sunday 10 February 2019

Where to watch live on TV in the UK: Sky Sports Premier League / Sky Sports Main Event / Sky Sports Ultra HD

Venue: Wembley Stadium, West London

Spurs might start to believe that they are in with a shout of a title challenge after finding ways to win ugly after their recent late victories against Fulham, Watford and Newcastle, all secured in the last 10 minutes.

Leicester continue to play well against the better teams, which Spurs certainly are, and will play without fear here. This could be a very open game.

Correct score prediction: 3-2 (Get 25/1 odds on this bet with Betfred)

Bonus bet tip: Over 3.5 goals – In the last 5 games between these two clubs, they have shared an incredible 23 goals. That’s over 4.5 goals a game on average. (Get 11/5 odds on this bet with 888Sport)

Man City v Chelsea

Kick-off: 4:00pm (GMT) Sunday 10 February 2019

Where to watch live on TV in the UK: Sky Sports Premier League / Sky Sports Main Event / Sky Sports Ultra HD

Venue: Etihad Stadium, Manchester

No doubt the biggest game this weekend.

Just when it looks as though the wheels were falling off for Chelsea manager Sarri, they went and put 5 past Huddersfield.  But yes, we are fully aware, that was Huddersfield.  However, the result will have built confidence, especially from the sight of their new striker and MVP combining well and both getting a brace on the scoresheet.

Man City will be buoyed by the fact they have reduced the gap with Liverpool.  City may be forced to rotate after a number of key players started to look fatigued towards the end of their extra midweek fixture.

Both defences have put in good performances in their last two games.  That coupled with a few tired legs in the City front line, may see quite a conservative and cagey game on Sunday.  We do fancy City to scrap this one though, and keep up the pressure on Liverpool.

Correct score prediction: 1-0 (Get 15/2 odds on this bet with 888Sport)

Bonus bet tip: Man City to beat Chelsea & under 2.5 goals – City have played a lot of games in the last few weeks, and haven’t rotated quite as much as week expected.  We’re expecting a scrappy game with both sides’ defences outshining their strikers. (Get 13/4 odds on this bet with Ladbrokes)

Premier League betting tips: Monday 4 February 2019

Wolves v Newcastle

Kick-off: 8:00pm (GMT) Monday 11 February 2019

Where to watch live on TV in the UK: Sky Sports Premier League / Sky Sports Main Event / Sky Sports Ultra HD

Venue: Molineux Stadium, Wolverhampton

Wolves continue to be hugely impressive this season and have now given themselves a 4 point gap between themselves and other sides in the fight for 7th place aka best of the rest.

That’s a huge achievement, but given the fact they had a very tough FA cup game in midweek, and Newcastle have found some half decent league form lately, only a goalkeeper howler prevented them from getting a point at Spurs last time out.

We think this could be the upset of the weekend.

Correct score prediction: 0-2 (Get 28/1 odds on this bet with Coral)

Acca selection: Newcastle win

Bonus bet tip: Rondon to score anytime – Rondon will certainly play and be the main focal point for the Newcastle attack, this could be good value. (Get 15/4 odds on this bet with 888Sport)
